Fresh Start

Okay, So I've decided that this has gone on long enough. My last post was two years ago when Hannah was in her first year of Joy School. I just sent her to kindergarten this morning and Ethan starts Joy School on Monday. It's time.

Hip Hip Hooray! Hannah started Kindergarten today.

We unfortunetly have been in School Choice limbo but decided that she should start at her assigned school just in case. It was a little scary but I am so proud of us, neither one cried. Well unless you count Ethan!

She is early bird (meaning 8 am) in Mrs. Kircher's class at Montevideo Elementry School. This may change in the near future but for now we are happy.

Hannah is so good at making friends I'm not worried about her a bit. While the kids were playing outside, the parents sat through orientation and at one point a little boy came into the classroom and walked to his mom who was sitting next to me. He said that some girl was chasing him and he thinks she wants to kiss him. Well, I asked him what she was wearing and he said purple with a pink flower in her hair. Oh, Hannah! What am I going to do with you. In her defense, she claims she was just running around with her friends and he just kept running away!

She is taller than most the kids in her class but there were a few boys her height so maybe she won't be the tallest. I just can't believe she's old enough to be in school at all. She looked so pretty in her purple sparkles skirt. Well, one day down, only a few more to go!
